Message But you mentioned soda blasting, which caught my eye. :) We just recently built a blasting cabinet and have been using soda in it for cleaning various parts. What a wonderful finish this stuff leaves on parts! :)

Final product - all wood/fiberglass construction, epoxy coated, with gloves, removable media hopper, couple of pop chargers for filtering. In all I think we have only about $200 total in it (pop chargers are cheapo-ebay filters)

Ready for surgery :)

Some random parts that we hit with the soda:

I never considered using it on plastic/urethane body parts though - can't wait to see your finished project! :)
